Our team has taken on the challenge of mitigating wellhead fatigue, identifying, assessing, and ranking methods for managing fatigue for specific installations and developing and qualifying tethering technology that has become an industry standard (NAME OF SYSTEM).
Working with an industry partner, TVO designed and manufactured the first tethered BOP (TBOP) systems for deployment in the Caspian Sea and North Sea, managing installation and offshore integration. We developed a high-capacity TBOP system designed to mitigate drive-off risk for shallow-water DP operations and assisted with potential first client’s regulatory approval process.
Our team also developed second-generation TBOP technology, optimizing system performance and operational friendliness and building rental units that have been deployed in Brazil and the Far East.
Our impressive track record in BOP tethering solutions speaks for itself, but we aren’t resting on our laurels. By adapting our proprietary technology to resolve operational challenges, we continue to change the face of offshore drilling and production.
